Welcome to the Jungle
For Mothers Day i got a tattoo of this illustration i designed, on my left arm, it was my idea of how the madonna and child would be in a more afrocentric light. Many thanks to Shooshoo for making it come to life, I mean i can draw but she is better with the final paint job. The love i have my family is deep and my love for renaissance art is just as great. Italy is inspiring a lot in me, too bad i will be leaving it in due time. Smell the roses around you while they are still in bloom.

While i was in Nigeria, it crossed my mind that the african aesthetic is only used in warmer climates and i havent seen it carried over for other weather conditions. I suppose you could call this a crossover fit, one that can be interchanged by adding or subtracting. The varsity is now another addition to the growing FK product line. It will be sold side by side the 5 panels in the summer time when i return back home to process orders. So if you are interested let me know, there will be more to come. I will spill the beans and say footwear is next endeavour. Stay blessed and Inspired.
GIVENCHY: MADONNA 17 JERSEY OVERSIZED T-SHIRT
Unbeknownst to many Italy is actually the birth place of innovation in Europe as opposed to style or fashion. It has come to my attention that most people think i am starting a clothing line. I am not. Just to clear that up.
The street i am on is where i go to school currently in Florence. I am studying under an atelier to be a shoe maker. I want to start a brand in Nigeria that merges the ideals of Nike and the aesthetics of Apple.
What i am wearing takes its root from a northern african nomadic culture. Mixed with a bit of the european sporty luxury trend, the shirt is part of the new givenchy tee line up.
I will be here for a year getting my seconds masters. So far i can tell you first hand that hand making footwear is the toughest thing to learn as a craft but nothing good comes easy. Stay Blessed and Inspired.

The story continues in the Nigerian Nostalgia Nexus Project, this time in the Lekki Craft Market on the Lagos Island. I have a new name behind the lens this time, Demi Olubanwo, who has taken time off from wedding photography to capture some blog worthy shots.
I cant say how much i appreciate The Working Class of this country. The ones who wake up at 6am and grind until the sun goes down at 9pm. They make this country stable with their willingness to do the jobs many of the so called upper class wont see fit.
I have always loved the market despite the flies, smell or dirt. It is the one place where you see characters heckling at prices and hear afrobeat tunes music blaring out of massive speaker systems. On this very day i was scouting for fabric and sculptures for My Personal Collection. Some people were nice enough to allow photos, some asked to be paid, a few hid their faces and others just made random jokes as i walked by in a manskirt.
In summary i feel at home in this metropolis, the real concrete jungle. If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. side note, the five panel i am wearing is the last in three pieces soon to be sold on My Online Store so reach out if you are interested. Stay blessed and inspired.
